Please Touch Museum

On the first Wednesday of every month, from 5-7pm, the Please Touch Museum offers admission for $2/person. Otherwise it's super expensive. So we decided to take advantage of it. It is just a big play place for kids...hence the name...

This was an elephant made entirely out of old junk toys and and gadgets and things. It was hard to tell what it was made out of until you got up close. Seriously, all broken toys and things. Pretty cool. Below is a replica of the Statue of Liberty Torch made the same way.

A giant floor piano, similar to the one in the movie "Big" and the one displayed at FAO Schwarz in NY. Always a fun thing to do.

A fancy display of Etch-A-Sketch art. Couldn't really get a good close-up on any one particular piece, but they were all animals, and so well done!

There was an Alice in Wonderland display, complete with the maze, Queen of Hearts, Cheshire Cat, and the Mad Hatter Tea Party.

A building blocks area. The grown-ups had as much fun as the kids...mostly knocking down the things the kids built! Courtney was proud of her Coliseum she built.

Our little baker...

Our shopper...she knows what to do...

Dress up time was the best!

A flying bicycle was fun. Pedalling kept you up in the air. Courtney was a little too big for this activity....little miss long legs....

A bulldozer for the balls...

Brian got stuck carrying Jessica's coat and he made it silly...Ally loves to pretend to drive...

A giant guitar sat in the lobby of the museum...

And of course, they all wanted to be the Statue of Liberty! We love America!

It was a quick 2 hours, but now that we know we can do it every month, we can do more next time! Time and money well spent.

I'm so glad to know about this! We've wanted to go and now I think we'll do it at the discount price. Looks like you all had fun!

I had no idea it was THAT cool of a place! Forget waiting for Ada to get older,... I wanna go! Maybe Glen and I should check it out.
